At it’s core, graphic design is about communication, not type-face selection or a fashionable aesthetic. Information architecture sits at the core of great web design and, sadly, is often overlooked on small and medium sized websites. What follows is a brief overview of what information architecture is and some tips on how to apply it’s core principals into your existing workflow so you end up with better organized, more user-friendly websites.
