| GOOD HOUSE MUSIC A couple days ago Desyn Masiello's debut solo mix CD, OS_0.1, arrived for my listening pleasure. It's really great house music that causes one's head and tail to involuntarily nod and shake, respectively. On this mix Desyn gets back to the roots of house with assertive bass, infectious loops and absolutely flawless mixing. The brightest points on the album come on the minimalist anthem "Fonky Somma" and the contagious disco romp "We Got The Musik". I decided to put this in the photo diary because the packaging design for this CD is top notch proving that with a little creativity even a one-color job can truly shine. |
